Kimball University (KU) is the authoritative and dependable source for data warehouse education. The KU goal is to provide high quality, consistent and complete data warehouse education consistent with Kimball University teachers’ work and books in dimensional design.
In collaboration with KU, a partner with whom Quest For Knowledge (Q4K) has worked for several years, international classes continue to be offered on a very limited basis.
The foundation class Data Warehousing in Depth (DWD) and the new class Dimensional Modeling in Depth (DMD) are the most practical training for data warehouse designers found anywhere. Data Warehousing in Depth is the foundation class for IT professionals who wish a firm grounding in dimensional modeling with a focus on project management via the Business Dimensional Lifecycle. Dimensional Modeling in Depth focuses on dimensional modeling exclusively from beginning through advanced topics.
Data Warehousing in Depth is taught by Margy Ross or Warren Thornthwaite, co-authors of the Data Warehouse Lifecycle Toolkit. Dimensional Modeling in Depth is taught by Ralph Kimball.
